Recent Patient Review

"I was transferred to Willis Knighton Hospital for lack of circulation to my Right leg due to blood clots. The plan from the Facility that transferred me to WK was to find a Cardiovascular surgeon to amputate. I was informed by the staff at the transferring facilities, to not be surprised if I woke up and my toes or foot would be missing. Dr. Miles Sugar was the doctor on my case. He made me feel peace on first site. He introduced himself and said, I am Dr. Miles Sugar, like the sugar you put in Coffee. Dr. Sugar informed me and my wife daily on my progress and the technique and meds used trying to save my leg. Dr. Sugar never gave up. I was taken to Cath Lab/ Surgery 4 days starting February 13, 2023. To dissolve the blood clots threaten to have my leg amputated. 4 days later he gave me thumbs up and the 5th day I was discharged with both legs, feet and toes. Dr. Sugar presents a warm caring attitude with his skills. He defeated the blood clots attacking my livelihood."
